Easter is such a lovely time of year, and while chocolate eggs play a major part, they're not the only way you can incorporate Easter eggs into your big day, especially if you're having a wedding this time of year and looking for something a little different.

Whether you want to give them out as favours or create mini place settings with them, there's plenty of cute ways to incorporate eggs in your wedding day without it feeling like overkill. One of the easiest ways is to use sugar-coated mini eggs, as favours or even just as table décor. The pastel colours will also add to the springtime Easter feel of your day, especially if that's the colour scheme you're going for.

Easter egg favoursAnother great way to use them of course, is in your delicacies. Particularly when it comes to your desserts and your wedding cake. You can have Easter cupcakes, which are very easy to make, with chocolate buttercream icing acting as a nest to house two or three little Easter eggs. Alternatively you could just add some mini eggs to your wedding cake for some extra Easter decoration.

As well as place cards, favours and desserts, you can also incorporate Easter eggs into the overall décor and style of your wedding. Add easter egg baskets around your reception room for subtle nods towards Easter, or use them in creative photography shots, like a shot of your rings. You could even have an Easter egg tree if you really wanted to, with names and table numbers on them to help guests find their seat. Easter eggs are a super cute addition to any wedding this time of year.
