Brows are in and thanks to celebrities like Cara Delevingne are here to stay, and we for one, are thankful that this trend isn't going anywhere, anytime soon. If you have somehow managed to miss all the brow-buzz and find yourself at odds when it comes to taming those furry friends of yours, then worry no more. We are here to help every bride lacking brow-confidence with our top three steps for brow taming.
1. EVERYONE'S BROWS NEEDS A LITTLE FILL
Do not be fooled into thinking that just because you have big and bushy brows, yes this is not just for those ladies with skimpy brows, that you do not need a little fill - everyone needs fill. So, crack out your pencil and using gentle sweeping brush strokes fill in those gaps where hair is less dense. Take things gently and you will be on your way to better, more defined, brows.
2. SAY NO TO SHARPIE BROWS
You know what I am talking about, those super dark brows that look like they might have been drawn on with a thick black marker (Groucho Marx comes to mind). Ladies, step away from the black pencil. Yes, I am talking to you. For perfect brows choose a pencil or powder a few shades lighter than your own colour (think taupe for medium brown hair) and layer on tiny strokes until you get the right look. The best way to get a natural looking brow is to go slowly and if possible look at yourself in photos. This way, you will know for sure if it looks natural or now.
3. HEARD OF A SPOOLIE BRUSH?
Sure, you might not have heard of a spoolie brush before, but I guarantee that you know what it is. A must-have tool for all brow tamers, a spoolie brush is basically a mascara wand shaped brush that smooths down brows for an ultra sleek look. Brush gently using upward strokes, this will not only help blend in your brow pencil/powder but will also work to open the eye and make you look more alert.
