It’s that time of the year again when we get to feast our eyes on some truly spectacular dresses that the world has to offer, or rather, that Paris has to offer us. Earlier this month, some of the best and boldest designers known to fashion gathered once again to showcase their most daring and desirable designs in a little show called Paris Couture Week. Mostly, the designers will send their most avant garde and wonderful dresses down dreamy landscaped runways, in vibrant colours and intrepid styles. However, along with these attention-grabbing and daring dresses, most of the fashion houses will also give a nod to the bridal world in their collections. For the Autumn/Winter 2015-2016 shows, we saw an abundance of bridal-themed gowns with extravagant designs and structure from our favourite designers.

Between the retro, glamorous twist on the classic structured suits of Chanel to the fur-lined ferocity of the Fendi gowns, there was a theme and a dress to suit every bride. Christian Dior graced us with something more ethereal and wholesome, in light, flowing dresses with high necks and pleated skirts. Versace offered up something with a definite sharper edge, with ultra-modern corsets and ruffled skirts full of volume and sass. And of course, our all-time favourite when it comes to enchanting, dream-like wedding gowns didn’t fail to disappoint once again in his latest dresses, Elie Saab. The renowned designer once again used the incorporation of dusty, romantic colours with delicate embellishments and grand, flowing skirts to give us wedding gowns fit for a princess. We can’t resist these inspirational wedding dresses from the very best that Paris Couture Week had to offer us this month. From inspiring your style of wedding dress to just taking a few minutes' break and having a look through the prettiest dresses known to runways, these wedding-inspired haute couture gowns are certainly worth an envy-filled browse through.
