The red carpet is easily one of our favourite places to spy on some beautiful gowns. There were some absolutely to die for dresses gracing the Emmys on Sunday night and it left plenty of scope for us to find some stunning bridal inspiration for brides to gawk at.
There were a few simple silhouettes on the Emmys red carpet this year, and TV presenter, Louise Roe definitely donned one of our favourites. This simple column one-sleeved gown is perfect for accentuating her slim figure with a gorgeous gold clutch. However, simple gowns with low embellishment certainly weren't lacking in wow factors.
Entertainment Tonight host, Nancy O'Dell stood out on the red carpet in a show-stopping custom-made gown. With her new clothing line, Nancy opted to design her own Emmys gown, and she did not disappoint. She chose a one shoulder style, something she wears a lot, and added a shining gold belt for drama, to give the gown something different. Not bad for a first design, Nancy. We love it.
We're used to seeing Yael Stone play Lorna Morello in khakis as a prisoner in Orange Is The New Black, but she was rocking a stunning, pink a-line gown at the weekend. Even if you're not into a pink wedding dress, you have to admit this timeless style with its layers and structure is pretty breathtaking. Emma Roberts didn't dissappoint either, in an off-white draped gown with a sultry, deep V-neck, custom-made from Jenny Packham.
Actress Gina Rodriguez also stunned at the Emmys in a Lorena Sarbu feathered and beaded gown with a gossamer train. In keeping with embellished bridal inspiring gowns, Veep star, Anna Chlumsky donned a Bibhu Mohapatra dress with flower appliques.
If you're thinking of something with a total breathtaking wow factor, we simply couldn't leave Sofia Vergara out of our Emmys analysis. It might not be traditional in terms of bridal gowns but who says you have to be traditional these days? This fitted, metallic gown would certainly turn heads at any wedding.
