This week, we're checking out one of our favourite bridal designers and adoring the latest collection. Vera Wang gowns are always pushing the boundries for brides and her Fall 2016 collection is no different. With its signature black detail, layered tulle skirts and long, delicate sleeves, Vera Wang manages to bring her classic signature designs into a brand new, stunning bridal collection.
When we think of a Vera Wang bridal gown, we think of daring designs. We think of dramatic tulle skirts and wild, unapologetic detail and delicate, chiffon sleeves. Vera Wang has a knack for allowing her designs to evolve and grow, yet still keep those constant details that make her collections tie together as one masterful set of dresses. The big, dramatic skirts feature strongly as usual this season and we love them.
The big gowns also feature the signature black ribbons, lace detailing or bows that we love so much from Vera Wang. Added to these constants were the unusual cutouts and panels in the Fall 2016 dresses. We love this gown in particular for it's unusual bodice, cutout panels, centre bow and dramatic, signature skirt with layer upon layer of tulle.
While we have a soft spot for Vera's dramatic tulle skirts, we also love her slender, fitted gowns. Looking at this collection, the column dresses may seem like simple, straight silhouettes at first glance, but in typical Vera Wang style, they are laden with plenty of drama and unapologetic detail and texture.
The column gowns differ greatly from ruffled, feather skirts, to illusion backs and intricate lace details. There are so many favourites to choose from but from the slim silhouettes, we adore this simple backless gown with the Vera black bow on the shoulder. It screams elegance and grace for any bride looking for her perfect Vera Wang gown.
