The latest Berta Bridal collection is here and it’s absolutely to die for. Each dress in her 2016 collection is a regal masterpiece, while still retaining her signature sultry details.
From narrow silhouettes to plunging necklines, we’ve all come to know and love Berta’s signatures, and with added grandure, handcrafted beadwork and many new materials in this collection, Berta has developed a whole new style.
2016 also introduces Berta’s use of new tones and colours, from dark ivory to deep nudes and champagnes, combined with silver appliqués and embellishments.
One of our favourites has to be this one, with Berta’s signature plunging neckline, cinched at the waist with glittering embellishments and regal ball gown.
We also love this embellished short dress, again with a deep plunging neckline and hand beaded bodice. The nude skirt is a perfect tone and ideal for the bride who’s looking for something sultry without opting for a figure-hugging floor length gown.
Added to these beautiful designs, are Berta’s fabulous adorned tulle capes, beaded veils and dramatic trains to give an added regal look and a sense of occasion, just want you want on your special day.
Berta took her inspiration for the 2016 collection from the 18th Century in Western Europe, when more women started wearing more figure emphasising clothing. Berta is already known for her gloriously fitted bodices and silhouettes and has brought that forward even more with more grand designs and finishing touches for 2016.
The complexity of the cuts and the elite craftsmanship are very easily distinguished. Each and every creation resembles a custom made design by the most talented artisans. Her designs are nothing short of enchanting and her latest collection is no different.
Berta's gorgeous wedding gowns are available at Cari’s Closet in Dublin.
