Our stunning autumn issue is on sale in shops right now and it's full of amazing inspiration, expert advice and our essential runway report. As well as all that, we've also got some gorgeous wedding dress shoots to showcase the very best in bridal design, including some of Ireland's own stunning designs.
In our latest cover shoot, we showcased a selection of gorgeous bridal gowns against the stunning, autumnal gardens of Tattersalls Country House, using additional, gorgeous blooms from Flowers Made Easy and Flowers by Moira. Our stylist, Roxanne Parker talked us through her choices for the shoot.
"I wanted to create a really lush shoot that reflected the natural beauty of a garden in full bloom. Flowers by Moria and Flowers Made Easy came on board to create beautiful flower arrangements for this story and I mirrored the softness and the texture of the peonies & roses used in this story by choosing dresses embellished with 3D-style blooms and embroidered floral details. I also wanted to experiment with colour, again reflecting the shades of hydrangea, scented stock & delphinium by choosing dresses in gentle blues, blushing pink & duck egg blue.
I contrasted these tones with stand-out shoes - Jimmy Choo's sublime lilac and multi coloured floral shoes, or L.K Bennetts, princess pretty pink glitter and floral flats to show future brides that they can express their personality on the day through their accessories choices and they don't have to play it safe in pearls and ivory silk pumps.
Fresh flowers in the hair and bold statement earrings were balanced out by mixing them with delicate jewellery to create a wearable but truly beautiful and original bridal look."
