Love stories have been alive for years and many of the greatest love stories of all time have been immortalised in books and literature throughout the years. Even some of the greatest couples from the big screen have been based on books both modern and classic. If you're a lover of books like us, then you might want to include some of these extra special literature details in your wedding.
Books can be used in a big way as part of your tablescapes and as centrepieces. Stacks of your favourite books and love stories will not only be the perfect and subtle way to inject your theme into each of your tables, but your book choices will give your guests something to talk about at the table.
One of our favourite ideas for book lovers is giving your guests second-hand books as favours. This is a great idea because it's very personal as well as being a useful favour for your guests. If you have a particularly large collection of books that you need to clear out this is the perfect oppertunity. Alternatively you can go to markets and second-hand bookshops and pick up a few. You can choose each book carefully for your guests. You might even write a note on the inside explaining why you gave them that particular book.
One of our favourite book ideas for wedding is this gorgeous cake, adorned in gorgeous caligraphy and designed and coloured like the pages of a novel. For added literature, you can make a cake stand out of another stack of books or simply adorn the table with your favourites.
