We're well and truly into festival season and we're also right in the middle of the wedding season, so what else can we do but throw the two together to make one amazing festival-themed wedding? We're not saying everyone has to stick on wellies and sit on the grass with plastic cups of beer (but if that's what you're into, we're not saying you can't do it either!)
First things first, if you're going to pull off a festival wedding, you need to look the part. For your dress, we're thinking long, flowing boho-style gowns and festival headbands or flower crowns. The same goes for your bridesmaids, although an alternative for long bridesmaid gowns is short floral print gowns reminiscent of festival attire.
You also have to let your guests know the kind of event their attending, and what better invitations for a festival-themed wedding than festival tickets? Send out VIP passes to your guests along with a festival line-up style programme to give them the full details. When it comes to decking out your wedding, we love this rustic sign post to let your guests know what's happening where. Indoors should be decked out with hanging pom poms and colourful lanterns while outside should be lit up with fairy lights and more lanterns.
One of our favourite elements of a festival wedding is definitely giant lettering, whether you're getting your initials or simply the word 'LOVE', they're the perfect addition to any festival themed wedding.
If you're festival fiends, this might be the perfect way to tie the knot and give your family and friends and enjoyable and memorable day.
