As we head into the summer months, we're dreaming of brighter colour schemes to (hopefully) match the summer sunshine. We love neon, and though some of you might think of school highlighters and high-vis jackets, we think of tastefully bright colours dotted around a room to really make it pop.
We love any excuse for giant balloons at a wedding, but they're even better when they're brightly coloured. Depending on how you use them, neon balloons might be the only pop of neon you need! If you're going for more subtle ways to add a neon vibe, you an opt for anything from lanterns to centrepieces. We like neon best against a white backdrop so don't introduce too many different colours, and don't let your décor get too busy.
It's not just the décor that has to fly the neon flag if you're looking to really brighten up your wedding. Neon colours can be fun and youthful without feeling tacky, especially if you focus on the details. Adding neon colours to your stationery, your favours or even your wedding cake are great ways to give that bright pop of colour without tipping over to the tacky side of things.
Of course you don't have to deny yourself a little acid brights magic. Your something blue for example, can be really bright turquoise, or maybe you're opting for ultra-bright heels? Your bridesmaids might also want to get in on the action, and you might just find a brightly coloured gem of a bridesmaid dress for your best girls. If you still want to keep it simple and subtle, don't neglect your bouquets and flowers. They're expected to be bright so that's your opportunity to go wild with some really bright blooms.
