We're embracing the summer season even if the sunshine is slow to catch up to us. We're dreaming of sandy beaches, fruity drinks and all things tropical. So we're having a look at some of the best ways to make your summer wedding a tropical ball of sunshine, whether you're getting married on the beach or not.

Tropical centrepiece

The first port of call with any theme is to let your guests get a feel for what your wedding will be like with invitations and save the dates. Give your stationery a beach feel or add some palm trees around the edge. We also love these adorable sun lounger place cards, complete with mini umbrellas.

Don't even think about having a tropical themed wedding without a selection of tropical drinks. There are plenty of fruity cocktails for this season to get your guests in the mood, or you can take it one step further and serve cocktails in actual coconuts. If you're looking for the perfect seasonal cocktail for your wedding, check them out here.

Bridesmaids can be tropical with pretty much any bright, summery colour, but we have a particular soft spot for coral gowns. The important element to make your bridesmaids truly tropical, add some bright tropical bouquets. While you're at it, make sure you add plenty of tropical blooms to every aspect of your wedding to really decorate it for a summer, with plenty of luscious greens and yellows, oranges and pinks. Don't forget about the centrepieces!
