Your centrepieces are an important piece of decor because it gives your guests something to look at while sitting at their table. They're one of the most noticed pieces of décor on the day because it's one of the few items your guests will essentially be sitting at and viewing for a few hours straight! They're also often a great way to give your table number a bit of personality if you choose to incorporate it in your centrepieces. So here our our favourites if you're going big and tall, intimate and small or completely unique.
Towering beauties
Tall centrepieces mean you need very little other decoration for your reception – they are your statement piece. Taller bouquets can be expensive but you will also need less when you’re going big so it may balance out budget-wise. They’re perfect for the couple who want to inject a bit of drama into their special day though. Be careful when choosing them carefully to avoid minimal blocking views for the guests.
Intimate settings
Not every couple wants to go big and dramatic. Simple decorations are very much on trend at the moment and low, small centrepieces are perfect to create an intimate, romantic feel to your reception. Smaller centrepieces can also give way to using candles to take the harm out of the flower budget and to make your tables even more romantic.
Centrepieces of attention
For a complete wow factor in your wedding, why not step away from the flowers and the candles and go for a completely alternative centrepiece. Vintage birdcages can look spectacular and you can still have your florals inside the cage itself. Some have even put a fish bowl on each table as their centrepiece and let guests take them home after the wedding, but do not take this decorative option lightly.
