This is the perfect time of year for a camping wedding. Summer is always a little late to the party in Ireland and we're all well aware that festivals and camping are often a better decision at this time of year rather than the middle of June. And if you're getting married around this time of year, perhaps a camping themed wedding might be better suited to you than your friend who's planning a July wedding. As we've mentioned before, when it comes to outdoor weddings in this country, be sure to have a dry plan B.

Why opt for a camping wedding? For a start, the photographs will be nothing short of spectacular in the woods. Picture tall trees with low autumn sunshine streaming through the leaves. The romantic scenery is perfect for your wedding photographs.

Don't forget to invite your guests to a woodland camping wedding with your invitations designed to tell them what to expect. We also love these rustic wooden wedding signs to help guide your guests to the right places of your wedding.

What would a camping wedding be without the most important part? The camping! Okay, so you don't have to sleep outside for your wedding night, but some high class tents would be the perfect addition for wedding. You can look at a marquee for your wedding meal, or if you just want sections of your wedding in tends, like some lounge areas or for your wedding cake, smaller glamping tent will do the job.

Speaking of your wedding cake, don't leave it out of the camping theme. We love this rustic tree-like cake for a camping wedding. Have your initials 'carved' inside the side with a heart on your tree trunk cake. How romantic.

Finally, give your guests something to take home from your fabulous camping wedding that reminds them of your special day. Cute little camping torch key rings or even snuggly blankets for your guests to cosy up with at your wedding as the cool evening air rolls in.
