January & February
Southeast Asia
Aside from skipping the rainy season (we get enough of that at home), there’s a reason people are heading east. Asia is home to some of the whitest, sandiest beaches, beautiful natural landscapes and some of the most hospitable people you will have the pleasure of meeting. Asia provides you with a great chance to sit back, relax, be waited on hand and foot and then do some exploring of an entirely different culture.
March, April & May
Hawaii
The beaches, clear water and friendly natives speak for themselves. Hawaii is considered one of the more romantic getaways in the world; not only will you overlook paradise from you’re balcony, but you can also indulge in some adventure by island-hopping! Considering August and September are an unbearable 92 degrees and the rainy season ends in March, one would very much assume that spring is the perfect balance.
June, July & August
Las Vegas
Travelling to the bright lights of the Nevada Desert at this time of the year will still prove to be a scorcher of a honeymoon, but more of a ‘dry heat’ and humidity is at its lowest of all year round. Vegas is not all about slot machines and tack, in fact, it’s unlike anywhere on the planet for a honeymoon destination. Not only is the weather amazing, there’s plenty to entertain couples with differing interests and some romantic restaurants to be wined and dined in.
September
Florida
The beauty of a Florida honeymoon means not only Caribbean-type weather all year round, but couples can enjoy two different lifestyles. One option is to don the shades, rent a car and experience Florida through its scenic back roads and highways. Or, kick back and relax with some shopping and fine dining in one of Florida’s many top hotel resorts. Embarking on this honeymoon in September means the kids will be back in school so, if you’re that way inclined, there will be shorter queues at Disneyworld.
October & November
Europe
From Venice to Bruges and back again to Paris, Europe is a trip you will never forget with its culture-rich historical settings and romantic hideaways. Best of all, you get to experience the entire time with your other half! It's the perfect spot for this time of year because you're not experiencing scorching weather, but you won't be quite in the depths of winter either, perfect for sightseeing in city destinations.
December
Caribbean
Embarking on a honeymoon to the sunny Caribbean during December means escaping the wintery chill and hurricane season all in one. With a whole host of islands to choose from, the Caribbean will prove to be a romantic getaway for you and your husband. Because who doesn’t love sun, sea...and a lot of sandy beaches!
