Whether you're having your wedding inside or outside, the lighting you use on your special day could be very important to the mood and tone you want your wedding to have. If you want a big, grand wedding that's lit up with exuberant ballroom lights, you'll need a lot of bright lighting. However, if it's an intimate affair you're going for, you'll need soft, yellow lights and even candles in place of actual lights.
For outdoor weddings we love fairy lights and soft, glowing lanterns to keep any romantic, garden wedding well lit. It's also important to take full advantage of your setting. No matter what venue you have, be sure to ask what you can do with the room. Ask if you can hang fairy lights from the rafters or the walls or even the trees outside. What's the harm in asking after all? And simply adding lights to your wedding reception can give it an added elegance.
Our favourite lighting beyond simple venue lighting or fairy lights in the garden, is light up letters. These look especially perfect for vintage weddings and it's perfect for added photo oppertunities, whether you get your initials, the word 'love' or simply 'I do.' Ligthing is so important at weddings and that's why it's our latest #InstaInspo.
