We have our eyes on the Pantone colours of the year when it comes to wedding trends, and one of our favourite combinations for spring/summer weddings has to be rose quartz mixed with serenity. If you're a bit stumped about what they are, they are exactly what they sound like. A pale, blush or rose shade of pink and a calm, muted blue. They're fresh, bright, and look divine together.
We could look at an entire wedding colour scheme based on this colour combination, but for now, we're just going to focus on stunning bridal bouquets made up of rose quartz and serenity flowers. Peonies are always a winner with us when it comes to rose quartz and for those pale blue blooms, hydrangea are definitely our favourites. We also love bluebells for a more natural, garden-style bouquet, while roses and carnations are a popular option to give your bouquet that hint of rose quartz.
How you layer your bouquet all depends on how the rest of your wedding looks. If you're giving your wedding the full rose quartz and serenity makeover, then it depends which colour you're giving emphasis to. If your bridesmaid dresses are blush, a deeper shade of pink mixed with more serenity blue might be stronger. Or, you could give them fully pink bouquets and opt for a blue bouquet yourself as your something blue if you're looking for something to fill that tradition.
Whatever way you decide to bring this gorgeous colour combination to life, bridal bouquets are definitely one of our favourite routes to go, and these colours are stunning for a spring wedding.
