If you’ve made the decision to skip out of your wedding a little early, then you need a really swoon-worthy send off to properly finish off the day. Whether you’re planning on running through your guests in the night or taking a slightly unusual mode of transport, we have some ideas for you. Feel free to combine them, so that you have a crowd tunnel to your transport!
EXIT TUNNELS
Streamers
Streamers are bright and colourful, so they’re most affective during the day rather than at night. Consider handing them out to your guests for when you exit the ceremony.
Sparklers
For a midnight exit, sparklers are a great way to send off any bride and groom. They make for fantastic pictures, and they’re a lot of fun for your guests.
Confetti
Like the streamers, confetti suits the daylight better, but if you have sparkly confetti, it can reflect any lights that are around, even if it’s night time. There’s plenty of colours to choose from with confetti.
Candles
For a more subtle approach to the night time exit, candles are a good substitute for sparklers, they’re a bit more intimate and romantic, and so it’s a good idea not to run quite as fast through the candles.
Leaves
Perfect for an autumn wedding, the naturally beautiful colours of newly fallen autumn leaves can be pretty spectacular, like giant pieces of rustic confetti!
EXIT TRANSPORT
Horseback
If you really want to wow your guests, disappear on horseback with your beloved! It's the perfect majestic exit.
Hot air balloon
This one is great if you’re leaving your wedding party the next day, and you get to experience incredible views in your hot air balloon at the same time.
Vespa
Take a hint from one of the most romantic countries in the world and ride off with your new hubby on the back of a nifty little Vespa.
Boat
For romance, scenery and that little extra bit of wow factor, why not leave on a boat? The slower speed will give you that bit of extra time to wave goodbye to your guests too.
Vintage car
If you’re a stickler for tradition, you can always stick to the car, but consider a gorgeously romantic vintage car for something a little bit extra special. It is your wedding after all!
