Stationery

Your stationery is where your vintage wedding will really shine. With tea-stain coloured card, exquisite letterpress wording with a rich font, and a touch of sparkle or some old reliable lace will really set off the theme of your wedding from the moment your guests are invited.

Fashion

Lace, pearls and Gatsby glitz all allude to gorgeously vintage styles. Lace dresses give a delicate feminine look. Accessorise your gown with a pearl bracelet or lace gloves and a birdcage veil to add that extra bit of glamour. Alternatively, go down the Gatsby route with feathers and sparkles. Don’t forget the ruby red lips.

Décor

Again, it’s all about the lace and pearls, but also about the muted colours. Dusty pink and ivory are perfect for a vintage look, and if you’re going for a less subtle vintage feel, add some antiques to dress up the reception hall and centrepieces. For an extra touch, add in plenty of candles and greenery to really transport your guests.

Vintage extras

To really hit the nail on the head, add music from a 1920s jazz club. Serve up old Speakeasy-style cocktails for your toast. Turn your guestbook into an antique typewriter for your guests to write some words of wisdom.
