As much as most brides would love to rush out, gather her bridesmaids and begin hunting down venues and dresses the minute she gets engaged, there are things that need to be taken care of first. After all your celebrating as a newly engaged couple is over, you get to make the announcement. This is perhaps the beginning of all the fun the two of you will have as a couple, before continuing on your journey to the aisle. It will probably be a slightly long, at times stressful, but completely worthwhile journey. Usually an engagement announcement will come after all the immediate family have been informed first, in person. Then, it’s entirely up to you how you want to share your love story with the world.
