It’s been a year of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, from dreamy countryside ceremonies to chic city celebrations. We’ve rounded up our favourite real wedding photos of 2024 – a collection of stunning shots, featured in both digital and print, that will make you laugh, cry, and maybe even start planning your own big day! So, grab a cup of tea, sit back, and get ready to swoon over the moments that made this year’s weddings so unforgettable. And let’s not forget the incredible photographers who were there to catch it all on camera!

The first shot of the list comes from Kate & Kevin's Shelbourne Hotel wedding, shot by Studio Brown and featured in our Spring 2024 issue. This was a city wedding with a personal touch. The couple said their vows under the impressive rotunda of Dublin City Hall and then had a galivant around the city centre, enjoying the rare Irish sun!

With some of the most beautiful floral arrangements we've ever seen, Dara & Brendan's Adare Manor wedding, shot by Christina Brosnan, is a wedding we won't forget soon. With a love story that started on a ferry to the Skellig Islands, the pair became man and wife at Adare Manor, and it was also the venue for their engagement!

With one of the cutest guests of honour, the couple's beloved dachshund Charlie, Katherine & Michael's mid-summer wedding at the Carriage Rooms is packed with personality. Capture by Under The Veil, we adore the bright, poppy colours from the flowers and vintage charm splashed all over this mid-summer celebration!

One of our favourites from early this year, the photos of Anna & Brian's wedding at Lough Eske Castle, captured by Peter Carvill, are literally brimming with joy. A former wedding dress model, Anna thought she had found the gown of her dreams until she spotted her glorious Berta gown on the Instagram of Verona Bridal (The very boutique she had modelled for in the past!). It's safe to say she made the right choice.

If you're searching for large bridal party inspiration, look no further than Natalie & Brandon's Adare Manor wedding, photographed by Studio Brown. With 13(!) girls in total, each given total carte blanche to choose their dresses, this spread of pastel tones looked stunning in such a grand venue.

Laura and James' Tankardstown House wedding, shot by Dasha Caffery, didn't have the easiest start. With a beautiful proposal in Barcelona that ended in a positive COVID test, leaving the groom temporarily trapped in Spain. The pair pulled it around for their heart-achingly beautiful autumn wedding!

A more recent addition to the site, we love the shot of Áine & Kailyn's Castlemartyr Resort Wedding, snapped by Under The Veil. Having grown up in the same town in Kildare but never truly met until living in Vancouver, we find their love story quintessentially Irish and one of our favourites!

Talk about a first kiss! This shot from Alexis & Marcus' Tankardstown House wedding, captured by Niamh Smith, is swoon-worthy. Not only do the pair share a birthday, but on their celebration trip to Paris, Marcus dropped to one knee at the Eiffel Tower and gave Alexis the best birthday present a girl could ask for!

Rachel & Michael's elegant black tie wedding at Castle Leslie, photographed by Peter Carvill, might be one of our top choices for weddings featured this year! Throughout the whole gallery (Which you should really check out), you can feel the joy radiating from not only the couple but their wedding party.

Captured by Niamh Smith, this shot from Cate & Chris's Tinakilly Country House wedding is so fun and playful! Having met through their respective exes, the couple flew halfway across the world from Cleveland to celebrate with their loved ones in Ireland, incorporating traditions like hand-fasting and ring warming into their perfectly personalised ceremony.

Without a doubt, our most popular wedding of the year, Conor & Tom Óg's Radisson Blu wedding, photographed by Peter Carvill, had a little bit of everything. A stunning ceremony in Dublin city hall (our favourite civil ceremony venue), a large wedding party and best of all, a tuxedo change make this an absolutely unbeatable celebration!

One of our most photogenic brides, we loved this photo from Rachel & Michael's Carriage Rooms wedding, shot by Jayne Lindsay, so much that we put it in print! These two have one of our favourite proposal stories, with Michale taking his bride-to-be on a romantic coastal walk, dropping to one knee to ask her to be his bride and watching as the dog they were babysitting took off at full speed down the beach!

Cliff at Lyons was the most beautiful backdrop for Emily & Ethan's late summer wedding. Captured by Hannah McKernan and featured in our Spring 2024 issue, this shot of the couple's first look at the lilypond is absolutely stunning and very reminiscent of Monet's Water Lilies collection.

Talking about resembling a painting, this utterly dreamy shot from Erin & David's Gloster House wedding, captured by S&P favourite Niamh Smith, took our breath away! Owned and operated by David's aunt and uncle, the couple never doubted that they would be wed in Gloster House. In fact, they had been planning it since they first started dating in 2016!

Megan & Joe's Ballykealey House wedding, photographed by Berit Alits, was a celebration of love. We can't imagine a more touching day, with their gorgeous baby waiting at the head of the aisle with Joe. Their incredible floral arrangements certainly don't hurt either!

Chelsea & Patrick's Luttrellstown Castle wedding, shot by Anna G, was soft, delicate and sweet with a colour scheme that perfectly tied the venue in. This stunning wedding day is featured in our Spring 2024 issue. We can't get enough of Chelsea's classic styling and her sister's incredible custom-made bridesmaid dress!

Posted at the start of the year, Ciara & Jamie's Shelbourne Hotel wedding, photographed by Wonder & Magic, is a Dublin city daydream. With only 9 months between engagement and the wedding date, the pressure was on the couple to perfect every detail, and we think they succeeded! With both of her bridesmaids living in different countries, finding a dress they both loved was no easy feat. But thankfully, the Prussian blue gown from Jarlo London looked amazing on the day.

Modern, laidback and fun are just a few words to describe Leigh & Ronan's wedding at the Station House Hotel. Shot by Two Souls Photography, we can't get over how cool this photo of Leigh is. The pair were childhood sweethearts, sharing their first kiss at an 18th birthday party 12 years ago! So many details from their day set this wedding apart, from the two-piece wedding dress to Ronan's Adidas trainers paired with his green velvet tux.

Another special day that prominently features their pooch, Marie & Pearse's Lough Rynn Castle wedding, photographed by S&P regular Peter Carvill, is a late addition to the list but certainly not for lack of style. With a casual vibe and a family-focused day, we won't be surprised to see this wedding popping up on Pinterest boards in the new year!

An Irish girl marrying an English man, Emily & Ryan's Newbay House wedding, captured by Iriana Duane, was a fun, playful and family-focused wedding day. The pair filled the venue with delicate florals, pastel tones and a heaping helping of personality!

This shot of the bride's sisters from Molly & Sean's Cashel Palace wedding, captured by Under The Veil, is a personal favourite! The couple got together through a little bit of meddling from both mums; years later, a beautiful wedding and a trip around the world later, and it really does seem like mother knows best!

Feast your eyes on Hazel & Andrew's Gloster House wedding, photographed by Niamh Smith and featured in our Summer 2024 issue. You would never know the couple had less than five months to organise the wedding! But against all odds, the two pulled off their stunning (slightly controversial) black-tie in the summer celebration without a hitch,

Another classic Irish love story, the pair met in Australia, arriving only three days apart, although Jen did initially reject his advances! Jen & Johnny's Dublin City Hall wedding, photographed by Wonder & Magic, was a quintessential city celebration, with dander through Dublin’s creative quarter and a few pints along the way.

Another example of absolutely breathtaking floral decor is Lauren & Daragh's Tankardstown House wedding, captured by Emma Kenny, which had some of the most incredible arrangements we've ever seen. With fluffy clouds of gypsophila floating amongst the chandeliers, have you ever seen anything quite this beautiful?

A gorgeous and intimate ceremony in Sligo, Shannen & Kienan's Yeats Building wedding, shot by Eimear O'Donnell, was the precursor to their fabulous Spanish wedding. Laid-back and relaxed, the pair didn't skimp on the details despite the day being micro. They even had a cake cutting!

Last but certainly not least, Roisin & Shane's Armada Hotel wedding, captured by Michelle Prunty and featured in our Spring 2023 issue, was a follower favourite, and for good reason! After a 3.5-year-long engagement and campervan tour of Australia, the pair planned their relaxed coastal wedding from the other side of the planet!
